OSC In The Community Hosts ‘Protect Your Money’ In Whitby

WHITBY – As part of its 'OSC in the Community' investor outreach program, the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) will be in Whitby on November 25, 2014 to host 'Protect Your Money', a free interactive seminar on investment fraud prevention and ways to be a smarter investor.

The session will feature senior-level OSC speakers discussing the latest investment frauds and scams and providing information on how investors can make the most of their relationships with their financial advisors. Attendees are encouraged to ask questions and provide their views on financial issues that matter to them.

OSC in the Community is an initiative of the OSC’s Office of the Investor, a branch dedicated to ensuring that investors’ perspectives are considered in the OSC policy and operational activities.
