NOTICE OF AMENDMENTS
TO THE SECURITIES ACT AND COMMODITY FUTURES ACT
On December 5, 2001, the Responsible Choices for Growth and Fiscal Responsibility Act (Budget Measures), 2001 (previously Bill 127) received Royal Assent. This Act includes amendments to the Securities Act and the Commodity Futures Act. The text of the amendments can be viewed on the Commission’s web site at
www.osc.gov.on.ca/en/Regulation/ontario_securities.html.
The amendments related to both the Securities Act and the Commodity Futures Act are being published together with a brief explanation of the changes in Chapter 9 of the Bulletin.
