About the OSC
Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA)
The Canadian Securities Administrators (CSA) is a council of the 13 securities regulators of Canada's provinces and territories. CSA members share ideas and information, and work collaboratively at developing harmonized rules and policies across the country in order to promote investor protection, streamline the regulatory process and reduce costs for market participants.
The CSA also works toward educating Canadians about the securities industry, stock markets and protecting themselves from investment scams through a variety of educational materials, brochures and books.
The CSA Secretariat, located in Montreal, provides organizational support and also monitors and coordinates the work of various CSA committees on policy initiatives.
